Trystan: Always ready for gardening!

Thursday was quite an ordeal, Horace is still recovering. But in Trystan’s defense, its was a complete accident. Hanging around a bone doll all day has given her more sensitivity to their magic, so instead of enchanting a broom (which she probably shouldn’t of been doing to begin with) she accidentally woke up Phinny, who did about 15 seconds of shenanigans before Horace ran in.

Hey Its been a while since I have talked about comics, so lets do that!
Today’s recommendation is a story driven humor strip called “Horny Tails“.  As the name implies this comic has a more mature rating (strong PG13). The story revolves around Garis, who is the quintessential “Saytr” of greek mythology. While on his constant quest for good wine and good women he encounters one misfortune after another in the form of ancient beasts, curses, and tricksters. The art itself is well designed and super expressive. It’s a fun little read ^__^

So, news of the week, the hilarious anime bunny comic, “Cucumber Quest” is having another kick starter, this time for Book 2.

Also, a good friend of mine (and a whole bunch of other really talented people- A.K.A LAVApunch) have put together a kickstarter for a comic anthology called, “Black Torch“.

Im super excited for both these things so give them a look if you can ^_^

Trystan has never ordered the doll around with magic, she is just very… persistent.

So there is one glaring change on this page. After being discontent with the dreamer’s talk bubbles I decided to try out the simple black balloon approach. Im hoping it still gets the right feeling of “otherness” across. Feedback appreciated.

If you guys like it than I will slowly go back thru the archive and make adjustments so that everything is consistent.
